Côte d'Ivoire qualified for the 2006 World Cup Finals on October 8th, 2005.

Germany 2006 is Côte d'Ivoire's 1st appearance in the World Cup Finals.

The Ivory Coast have opted for the French town of Vittel as their pre-World Cup camp, from 19th May to 4th June.
